Lessons in Leadership
Margaret Mead once said, "A small group of thoughtful people could change the world. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has." In these presentations, Joe will tell stories of how one person can change the world- the power of one. These presentation are fun, uplifting and most importantly, life changing.

In this presentation Joe will talk about how he was "called" in 2003 to intervene to prevent the Louisville Orchestra from filing for bankruptcy. He will talk about the two week period from his initial phone call to the eventual resolution of this crisis. He will discuss how he organized the rescue package and the lessons learned from this experience.

(Approx 40 minutes)

In this presentation Joe will discuss receiving a phone call in late September, 2007 from the producer of the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition T.V. show asking his company to build a home for Patrick Hughes and his family.

This talk will focus primarily on the short time frame to organize and build a home in four days. Many lessons were learned and are discussed in this presentation.

(Approx 45 minutes)

This talk will encourage attendees to adopt six specific strategies that every individual can use to not just survive, but thrive in today's tough economic climate. This new speech was created to inspire and motivate. "Just what I needed to hear," "I was energized by your speech" are some of the comments by recent attendees.

I was so inspired by your message because when you were called to action you did what needed to be done. You did more than delegate or pass the buck like other "leaders" do. I consider you the model we should all go by.
